God will destroy humanity for this

The Bible records God’s breaking point with humanity. He was done.

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was continually only evil.  The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him in His heart.  So the Lord said, “I will destroy man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—both man and beast, and the creeping things, and the birds of the sky, for I am sorry that I have made them.” Genesis 6:5-7

So what was it exactly that humanity did to jump on God’s last nerve? Here’s what the Bible says:

When men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them,  the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair and took as wives any they chose.  The Lord said, “My Spirit will not always strive with man, for he is flesh; yet his days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:4

In the recent days of church innocence, many a preacher and a whole lot of parents as well, used this passage to warn their flocks to not marry non-Christians. As good as that belief is, this particular passage actually denotes activity much more sinister. Basically, some forbidden gene mixing created some undesired beings. That’s why God decided to purge the earth of these critters.

The ambiguity of the Genesis 6 passage has generated enough conjecture to take up what seems like a quarter of all internet space. You can check into all that later. First let’s get some whys and wherefores out of the way.

From the promise of the savior to redeem fallen man in Genesis 3:15, Satan has sought to interrupt this plan of God. His Genesis 6 ploy was to begin mixing the bloodline. Why? Perhaps to interrupt the birth of the savior or perhaps to dilute the purity of God’s crowning creation—man.  Whatever the reason, God stopped it.

God found a man named Noah who found grace (Genesis 6:8). So, God started all over with him. Apparently the evil dilution also affected the animals because God wiped them out too, except for a few chosen ones who perhaps still carried pure DNA.

Fast forward a few thousand years with the plan of redemption making a noticeable impact through the birth and ministry of Jesus. While on earth, He advised His followers of the signs of the last days:

As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, Matthew 24:37

So, those who are in the last days will have confirmation of those last days when they see similarities with the days of Noah.

That leads to this:

NIH Plans To Lift Ban On Research Funds For Part-Human, Part-Animal Embryos

The article begins with this, “The federal government announced plans Thursday to lift a moratorium on funding of certain controversial experiments that use human stem cells to create animal embryos that are partly human,” and then it just gets worse after that.

Have not these people seen enough science fiction movies? Nothing about this ever goes right. There is always some “mad scientist” behind it. Always. And money over ethics and morality. Always.

So, back in Genesis 6, Satan monkeyed around with human DNA to destroy God’s plan, and God responded by taking Noah out to safety and destroying the earth and its inhabitants with a flood. In the last days, Satan inspires humanity to play around with DNA and God will take away His who found grace in His eyes. Then, God will levy the great tribulation upon the earth.

I hate to even mention this stuff because people tend to get lost in the weeds and start consuming their time researching Nephilim when they would do better majoring on the major stuff like learning to live a Christian life full of the fruit of the spirit and witnessing to others. Don’t get lost in the weeds. Don’t do it.
