Adam Lambert Joins AT&T And The Trevor Project For LGBT Pride Month

AT&T has teamed up with The Trevor Project and Adam Lambert for Pride Month. They have started Live Proud, a campaign where they promise to pledge $25,000 to The Trevor Project, but the Facebook community could help AT&T double that. For everyone who "Likes" the Live Proud campaign on Facebook, AT&T will donate a $1 to The Trevor Project, up to $50,000.

AT&T will also add 50 cents to every donation for each person who re-tweets with @ATT, @TrevorProject or @adamlambert with the hashtag #attliveproud. On top of the generous donations to The Trevor Project, the LiveProud campaign is also asking for LGBT adults to submit their most proud moments through video or written testimonials. Ten winners will be announced and they receive tickets to the Live Proud VIP Experience where Adam Lambert will perform a private concert for the winners and their guests.

Lambert, who recorded a video message for the campaign (which you can watch above) said: "Too many lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth don’t believe they have a voice -- but I want to show them that they do, and encourage them to live free and to live proud." Aside from ten winners being chosen, some of the proud moments submitted could also be featured in a video montage celebrating LGBT youth.

The campaign ends June 30, so do your part by going over to the Live Proud Facebook page and clicking "Like." It's as easy as that to contribute to The Trevor Project this Pride month.  HuffingtonPost
