Antichrist’s Treaty With Israel Is Ready To Go

Many people probably remember back when Coca-Cola rolled out their New Coke in the heat of the soda wars. I don’t know how that played out in the rest of the world, but in the United States it went from no Coca-Cola and only Coke, then it went to Coke Classic and New Coke to finally just Coca-Cola and no more New Coke. What was an attempt at redesign in order to be better placed in the market turned into a fad and then a flop. There’s a new fad in the study of the end times that is gaining popularity, but I suspect that it too is like the New Coke, simply a fad that will pass as well. The idea that the Antichrist will be Muslim certainly has lots of people speculating, and some ministers are already tossing their support for this revision, and I have to admit, it has all been interesting. I often say, that as events occur drawing us closer to the end; those events will reveal more of the scripture to us. So the growth and influence of Islam certainly seemed to lend itself to the idea that the Antichrist would himself be Islamic. It is interesting, nevertheless, but the classic teaching that the Antichrist comes from the European Union (EU) still holds much better water. Sometimes, the classic version of anything is better anyway.

People in the United States for the most part are totally oblivious to the build up of the EU Empire. Perhaps it’s the North American ethnocentricity, but North American’s are, for the most part, simply not aware that at anytime, the Antichrist figure can rise to power through the already-prepared EU Empire.

This thing started out as the European Common Market, but it’s been in design and metamorphosis since the late 1930’s through the Federalist movement. But, it has certainly shaped up and is poised to be the leading world economy, and the United States is in a certain level of denial. This common market was designed originally to enhance trade among partnering nations, but it has grown its mission now in purpose to affect and redesign its direction and influence on the world. It is accomplishing it in a big way.

The fundamental governmental design of the EU is alarming in the fact that it has limited democracy. The people who are represented don’t have a vote, and the commission meets behind closed doors. This is an easy set up for a dictatorship. Looking back historically, dictatorships, or at least domination, come easy for Europe. Look at France with Napoleon, Germany’s rise a couple of times—it’s all there as if the attempt to achieve that power was attempted a few times ahead of schedule. This time there won’t be any stopping it from happening because the Bible is clear about the New Roman Empire, or Babylon, achieving power again. This time it will be the most wicked of any previously known dictatorship.

Currently there are 27 member nations in the EU. This has prophecy scholars stumped because they are looking for a ten-nation ruled dictatorship. Well, there is the EU parliament which reports to the ten-member council of ministers. The Bible states that there are ten kings, but they don’t actually have kingdoms:

“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” Revelation 17:12-13

Look at it this way, if the Roman Empire is to rise again, it will have to do so with more than ten nations. Perhaps they will later consolidate into ten regions or ten main leader nations. But for me, the Council of Ministers fits the bill for now.

The Council of Ministers reports to the EU Commission and out of the Commission comes the EU President whose position perfectly defines the Antichrist, or at least the position he will need to begin his work.

The Tribulation begins when the Antichrist negotiates a peace treaty with Israel (Daniel 9:27). That peace treaty is already in rough-draft form and ready for the EU President (Antichrist) to deliver. This treaty, guaranteeing Israel peace, was drafted in 1993 by the Federalist Trust, the think tank that influences EU policy.

One thing I know for sure, try as they might, every US President has failed to bring that coveted peace to the Middle East. I think every US President tries this so they can go down in history with this great accomplishment and perhaps get their likeness etched into Mount Rushmore—because a big deal would be this accomplishment. But it’s not going to happen. The EU will bring peace to Israel. Israel has applied for membership into the EU, and it’s all about economics. Israel would benefit economically and so would the EU member nations, but in order for Israel to come in, the neighboring nations will need to be brought in as well, and they are holding out for a Palestinian state.

In order for Israel to enter, they will have to yield up land and somehow an exchange will work out allowing Israel to build the Third Temple on the Temple Mount. This will undoubtedly be part of the Peace Treaty; a treaty that three and a half years later will become the covenant of death as prophesied by Isaiah:

Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death,
      And with Sheol we are in agreement.
      When the overflowing scourge passes through,
      It will not come to us,
      For we have made lies our refuge,
      And under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.”

      Your covenant with death will be annulled,
      And your agreement with Sheol will not stand;
      When the overflowing scourge passes through,
      Then you will be trampled down by it. (Isaiah 18:15, 18)

How close are we? CLOSE! Here’s what to look for: look for the United States to continue struggling economically and begin a steady decline and look for the EU to do the opposite. Look for the EU to become more directly involved in negotiating peace in the Middle East, in fact, I suspect once they are in charge, they will get it the first time. Are any of these two possibilities impossible? Duh, it’s already happening.

Now, here is what you need to do. If you don’t know how yet, you better learn how to share the gospel with others. Eternity is coming closer and as it does, more people will become ripe for the harvest. Look for one of the greatest harvests of souls for Jesus in these last days, and we have to prepare ourselves to be part of the laborers who work the harvest.

Now, I must recommend one of the best books I have ever read on prophecy, and it’s just out new. The Seat of the Antichrist:  Bible Prophecy and the European Union. Author Erika Grey has done a phenomenal amount of research documenting how things are lining up exactly has predicted by the Bible. Lot’s of prophecy teachers spew ideas, but Erika proves it and she sure got my attention. It’s a classic message with a class-act of putting it together, and kiss the prophecy fads and conspiracy theories goodbye.

The end is coming; and it’s quicker than you think.
