EuroNews:  Stig Elling and his partner Steen Andersen have become the first gay couple to get married in church in Denmark.

They walked down the aisle in Frederiksberg Church in Copenhagen under a new law allowing the religious ceremony.

Denmark has long been a pioneer in gay rights, becoming the first country in the world to allow same-sex civil unions in 1989.
