ChristianNewsBuzz:  Copenhagen, Denmark – the authorities are planning to legalize the same-sex marriage for gay couples. They will launch a proposal to push through the changes for Denmark’s marriage laws, according to the officials. The gay couples will be allowed to have formal ceremonies on churches rather than the short blessings invoke by Lutheran clergy. Reports say the church has the right to refuse to wed the couples.

“Denmark’s Church Affairs Ministry says the law change would put Denmark on par with countries including Iceland and Sweden that allow full wedding ceremonies for gay couples.”
