Iran's rivers run dry in drought

BBC:  This summer Iran was hit by one of the worst heatwaves on record.

Drought and dust storms led to soaring temperatures and some of the country's largest rivers running dry.

President Ahmadinejad has told his people the drought is the result of sabotage by the West.

Mohsen Asgari travelled to some of Iran's remotest provinces at the peak of the heatwave.
