Is America positioning to split apart?

11/01/2014 10:17

Does the US flag, the quintessential symbol of America, splitting down the middle during game three of baseball’s 2014 World Series have prophetic significance?

It makes sense that if this is a prophetic sign that it would be delivered on a national platform, and the World Series would definitely meet that expectation.  But for now, let’s set this incident aside and look at some other issues that perhaps shouldn’t be ignored.

Although most people are not taking secession talk seriously, such chatter is attracting noticeable attention.

The chief purpose of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution is to provide an avenue for the people to take back control of their nation should it ever be hijacked. So, when the topic of gun control rises, so does the ire of many Americans.  To these Americans, owning guns is as American as waving the American flag. Increased tension between gun control and gun rights advocates always follows shootings.

When news breaks of government agencies buying up guns or ammo, conspiracy theorists celebrate some unusual credibility while others raise their eyebrows.  So, how do you explain this?

Not many years ago, government takeover claims by wild-eyed anti-government conspiracy theorists received amused chuckles and dismissive head shakes from most Americans. Not so anymore. The climate in this nation is at its lowest level of trust ever. Untrusting groups form unions to support and provide confidence to one another and mob-mentality obscures sound reason.  So, now what would have been silly articles relegated to garage presses are mainline news today.

All of that describes the political division in the United States. This nation is a divided people, and an American flag splitting down the center at a national event for all to see depicts physically what is happening politically.

But what is happening spiritually in America could split the nation physically, and the torn flag may also be a sign depicting this spiritual split.

And if that’s not enough, try this:

The United States has boldly stepped away from divine protection.  The United States has incurred a curse.

“You shall have no other gods before Me.

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,  but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.    Exodus 20:3-5

The United States has not incurred one curse, but another, older than this one, with its treatment of Israel. From the moment President Harry Truman led the United States in blessing Israel by being the first world nation to recognize Israel as a nation in 1948, the US moved in unprecedented prosperity. Whether a nation serves God or not, any nation that blesses Israel is promised favor in this pre-law, ancient Abrahamic covenant blessing.

I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:2

And this is how the United States is turning from the Truman path and taking up the Obama lightening rod:

Simple and clear. The United States has opened itself to two types of Biblical curses. How can the flag not split?

End time prophecy discourse in the Prophet Ezekiel’s writings and John’s in Revelation don’t mention the United States. Although a few prophecy scholars make obscure references to some scripture references that they suggest show the US, most scholars agree—the United States is conspicuously absent in Biblical prophecy. In the end, Israel stands alone as a nation delivered by God Himself. So, what happens to the United States?

Is it possible that the United States will split not only politically, spiritually but also physically? A dream and vision by Pastor and Evangelist John Kilpatrick suggests this:

Maybe there is hope. The flag isn’t fully ripped yet. Is there a chance for America to turn back and mend the rip? Something drastic will have to happen. Meanwhile, America’s enemies patiently wait:
