Israel is a remarkably blessed nation

Israel is a blessed nation—a remarkably blessed nation. While many countries are reeling from the downturned economy and contracting with austerity measures, Israel continues to expand and seems to be doing even better in this downturn. That’s remarkable.

The Bank of England just announced it has to go back and cut once again its UK growth forecast.  The US Treasury is taking “extraordinary measures” to avoid its debt limit, and with a recent credit downgrade by Standard and Poor’s, the A+ positive rating for Israel really stands out like a victorious flag waving above financial turmoil.

Once advances in technology seemed to be related to the United States or Japan, but Israel is getting noticed in this arena as well.

That’s just a small example of what is happening in Israel with technology. That’s enough to cause Warren Buffett to say, “Israel has a disproportionate amount of brains.” Israel is remarkably blessed indeed. (For more on this and future related postings, click here. )   Businesses, nations, and people who recognize this blessing and connect with Israel are receiving Abraham’s covenant blessing decreed by God where He tells Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:3) Why wouldn’t you want to tap into that!

Israel’s expertise with agriculture has impacted the world and if the nations of the world would covenant with Israel, there could be a huge impact on reducing world-wide hunger. Israel has learned to apply technology to create an agri-efficiency model that has made a tremendous impact. The article, Israel Helps World’s Deserts Bloom, highlights a conference in Israel described as impacting 200 million people worldwide with agri-technology and skills targeted to reduce famine and worldwide hunger. Another article describes how Israel is spreading this agriculture miracle to other drought-stricken nations. Israel is also impacting the world with its learned expertise in irrigation technology, water management and treatment, and desalination

The Bible prophesied this in Isaiah 35:1 where the word simply says: “The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose.” Out of this desert land comes not only the agricultural blessing, but the technology blessing as well making an undeniable and remarkable impact on the world. This tiny nation which began as nothing but through the covenant promise and prophetic decree it is a world leader making global impact.

There is more to come for Israel. Now there are oil and gas reserves just about to impact not only the tiny nation of Israel, but the world:

All of this is leading to a culmination of prophetic events all foretold by the Bible.

  • Israel would be restored as a nation as prophesied in Isaiah 11:12 “And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth “
  • Hebrew would be resurrected as the national language as prophesied in Jeremiah 31:23 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “They shall again use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I bring back their captivity: ‘The LORD bless you, O home of justice, and mountain of holiness!’
  • Israel would excel in agriculture and technology as prophesied in Isaiah 35:1 The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose
  • Nations will turn against Israel and Jerusalem as prophesied in Zechariah 12:2-3 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.
  • Russia will join an Arab coalition and will attack Israel as prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39 and this particular attack may be for Israel’s prosperity in food, oil, and gas. The scriptures describe going for Israel’s “booty” and the reference of hooks in the jaws of Russia might relate to famine or food shortages.

Anyway, there it is. The Bible has been totally accurate in all it’s predictions about Israel coming back together as a mighty nation, so with that totally accurate track record, why would we not consider the rest of the end time prophecy? The record is perfect and everything related to Israel’s remarkable blessing is fulfilling what the Bible prophesied from ancient times.
