SUKKOT 2011 - AN EXCITING EVENT ON THE HOLY TEMPLE MOUNT IN JERUSALEM

The Temple Mount Faithful Movement Pilgrimaged to the Holy Temple Mount Calling the Government of Israel to Rebuild the Holy Temple Immediately on the Same Location of the First and Second Holy Temples

On Sunday, 18 Tishrei 5772 (October 16, 2011), the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement made the traditional biblical pilgrimage to the Holy Temple Mount of the G-d of Israel in Jerusalem. After almost 2,000 years -- since the destruction of the Second Holy Temple when the Israeli people could not fulfill the commandment of the G-d of Israel to ascend the Holy Temple Mount, the place in Jerusalem where He chose to dwell among His people Israel -- the Temple Mount Faithful Movement again this year renewed this exciting event.

In the Torah the G-d of Israel calls His people to come from every corner of the Holy Land to His Holy Temple to "be seen by Him and to see Him" three times a year during the three festivals of Pesach, Shavuot, and Sukkot. G-d promised the people of Israel:

"For I will cast the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shall go up to appear before the L-rd thy G-d three times in the year" (Exodus 34:24).

In a time when most nations have the desire to take from the people of G-d both the Land of Israel and the holy city Jerusalem, given by G-d only to His people Israel for a godly purpose in an eternal covenant, to form a foreign anti-godly "Palestinian Islamic state" that never before existed in either the Land of Israel or any other place in the world, the Temple Mount Faithful Movement decided to march to the Holy Temple Mount during the Festival of Sukkot and to pray and to call on the G-d of Israel to stop the attack of those nations against the people and Land of Israel and Jerusalem as He promised to His people:

"Then shall the L-rd go out, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.... And on that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the nations: all that burden themselves with it shall be grievously hurt; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it ... And it shall come to pass on that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." (Zechariah 14:3; 12:3,9)

The Temple Mount Faithful Movement decided, while we are now in G-d's timing when the G-d of Israel is redeeming the Land and the people of Israel, that it is the right time to answer the call of G-d and to build the end-time Holy Temple of G-d to fulfill His prophetic call to His people Israel. We knew that this major godly event would open a new era of morality and a real godly peace in the life of all the world exactly as the G-d of Israel prophesied to us:

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the L-rd's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall go and say, 'Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the L-rd, to the house of the G-d of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for from Zion shall go forth Torah, and the word of the L-rd from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall decide for many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the L-rd of hosts has spoken it." (Isaiah 2:2-4, Micah 4:1-4)

Sukkot was also the time when King Solomon completed the building of the First Holy Temple and he made an exciting public celebration in the Holy Temple during the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).

"So was ended all the work that King Solomon made for the House of the L-rd. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, he did put in the treasuries of the House of the L-rd....Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefs of the fathers of the children of Israel, to King Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the L-rd out of the city of David, which is Zion. And all the men of Israel assembled themselves to King Solomon at the feast in the month of Etanim (Tishrei), which is the seventh month....And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the L-rd to its place, into the sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubim....There was nothing in the ark save the two tablets of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the L-rd made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt. And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the L-rd, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the L-rd had filled the house of the L-rd. Then spoke Solomon, The L-rd said that he would dwell in the thick darkness. I have surely built thee a house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever. And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood:) and he said, Blessed be the L-rd G-d of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying, Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house, that my name might be there; but I chose David to be over my people Israel. And it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the L-rd G-d of Israel....And the L-rd has performed his word that he spoke, and I am risen up in the place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the L-rd promised, and have built a house for the name of the L-rd G-d of Israel. And I have set there a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of the L-rd, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt. And Solomon stood before the altar of the L-rd in the presence of all the congregation of Israel and spread out his hands towards heaven and he said, L-rd G-d of Israel, there is no G-d like thee, in the heaven above, or on the earth beneath, who keepest covenant and truth with thy servants who walk before thee with all their heart....And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray towards this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive....that they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou didst give to our fathers. Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but comes out of a far country for thy name's sake: (for they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm:) when he shall come and pray towards this house; hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel: and that they may know that this house, which I have built is called by thy name. If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever thou shalt send them, and shall pray to the L-rd towards the city which thou hast chosen, and towards the house that I have built for thy name: then hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause....that thy eyes may be open to the supplication of thy servant, and to the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken to them in all that they call for to thee. For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thy inheritance, as thou didst speak by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou didst bring our fathers out of Egypt, O L-rd G-d." (1 Kings 7:51; 8:1-2,6,9-17,20-23,30,40-45,52,53)

The climax of this exciting event of the pilgrimage of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement to the Holy Temple Mount came when Gershon Salomon, chairman of the Faithful Movement, lifted his hands to the G-d of Israel, in the direction of the location of the Holy of Holies on the Holy Temple Mount (currently situated directly under the Dome of the Rock), while all the other Faithful Movement members gathered around the location of the First and Second Holy Temples, and prayed to the G-d of Israel -- the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- the exciting prayers of King Solomon, calling for Him to put it into the hearts of those in the government of Israel to rebuild His Holy Temple during the days of our generation and to encourage them to bring to pass in our lifetime His prophetic Word and promises spoken by the prophets Isaiah and Micah. Gershon prayed to the G-d of Israel to renew our days to be like those days of King David and King Solomon so that the people of Israel can fulfill their godly mission "... to be a holy nation, a kingdom of priests and a light to the nations" (Exodus 19:6). He prayed for G-d to protect His people Israel from the many enemies who are attacking them during this very critical time.

The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement will proceed with her historical campaign to rebuild the Holy Temple of G-d at this special time and to call the people of Israel to fulfill without delay their task as a biblical nation who pursues G-d's holy mission among the nations.
