It’s the economy, Stupid…uh, what economy?

We know from Bible prophecy that money, the economy, and all associated with it spirals, plummets, and holds the earth’s inhabitants breathless in the end.

Third Seal: Scarcity on Earth

When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” Revelation 6:5-6

The Mark for Commerce

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. Revelation 13:16-18

The World Mourns Babylon’s Fall

“The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’

“And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. Revelation 18:9-14

In the end, the world economy collapses. As we all know, we’ve come very close to that and we’ve had to deal with it over the last several years.

And the worst may be yet to come, real soon

There is a purpose for these economic troubles. The downturn has world attention like nothing else. It’s forcing the European Union to legislate itself into that end time image that will create the platform for the Antichrist.

You can dig a water well, plant potatoes, bury silver, and stuff your mattresses with beans and rice until you have lumps to the ceiling to save yourself. It won’t be enough to ward off the Tribulation that is seemingly fast approaching.

We believe that those whose hearts are right with the Lord, who have called upon Him to save them; those who are born again, will escape this evil that is about to slam the planet earth.

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 3:10

Isaiah 57:1, The righteous perishes (meaning take away, pull up in the original), and no man takes it to heart; merciful men are taken away, while no one considers the righteous is taken away from evil (the face of evil). Also, Zephaniah 2:5 Seek the Lord all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility, it may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger.

The tribulation is a fact—it’s coming and it seems it may be around the corner. The next Bible prophecy to be fulfilled is the rapture, or catching away, of the church. Then the Antichrist will be revealed and the tribulation period can begin. Read more about the rapture by clicking here

Heaven is a real place, He invites you, and I want to see you there!

Now, before we escape this letter, let’s be mindful of the fact that we have a duty to fulfill, a mandate from heaven to bring heaven down to earth. His will is that earth be like heaven (Matthew 6:10). So in the midst of a spiraling economy, we can bring the answer from heaven of an economy unbridled with human hands, something so powerful that the eyes of mankind will be lifted to the King of kings and Master of all. This is the opportunity for the church to shine in darkness, not hide waiting for the rescue.
