New Years Eve: 5.77 million Jews in Israel

The Central Bureau of Statistics has revealed that New Year's eve Israel's population is 7.6455 million people, of which approximately 5.77 million are Jews, about 1.56 million Arabs, and 315 500 "others".
It also found that 28% of the Israeli population is aged 0-14. Meanwhile, 14,572 immigrants arrived in Israel in 2009.
