PA to Apply for Membership in WHO

AS7:  The Palestinian Authority’s Minister of Health, Fathi Abu Moghli, said on Monday that he is preparing to an application for the PA to gain full membership in the World Health Organization (WHO).

In a statement quoted by the PA-based WAFA news agency, Abu Moghli said, “With President Mahmoud Abbas’ directives, we discussed Palestine’s membership in WHO with the organization’s director of bureau.”
