Suriname Recognizes Palestinian State

From Israel National News:  Suriname has recognized a Palestinian state within the lands occupied by Jordan between 1948 and 1967, the PA-based Ma'an News Agency reported.
According to the report, the President of Suriname announced the move in a letter sent to Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. Suriname thus becomes the tenth country in South America that has recognized a Palestinian state in recent weeks.
