The Clock Ticks toward the Last Big Sign of the End

Those of us who understand the end time significance of the third Jewish temple get excited when the Temple Mount hits the news. We’ve been excited lately!

We are often told by prophecy teachers, “Keep your eyes on Israel; it’s God’s clock for the end times.” Going with that then, the clock works for the end times rests in the Temple Mount.

The foundation stone is set at the Temple Mount. It’s literally a timepiece ticking towards the wrap up of the ages. Tick, the rapture of the church. Tock, the Antichrist takes his place. Tick, Jesus returns with fire in His eyes riding a white stalion. Tick, tock, tick, tock… “To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven,” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

The Temple Mount is the threshing floor that David purchased.

This is where Abraham offered up Isaac, right on the foundation stone which is now located in the Dome of the Rock.

The foundation stone is where it all started. In Eden is the garden God created and the garden in which He installed Adam and Eve and charged them to dominate.

The foundation stone is where it started and where it will end. That’s why we want to keep our eyes on any news regarding the Temple Mount. Have you ever considered how a clock completes a revolution and always ends up back where it started? Clockworks are an engineering marvel. Imagine the engineering marvel of setting humanity, the earth, and all of the heavens in a clockwork movement? The clock’s movement began with Genesis 3:15’s promise of the savior and it will end when He pierces the Eastern sky.

It began when God blessed Adam and Eve and empowered them to reign on earth and it will end when their descendants finally take their place. There are a lot of precise ticks and tocks in between that.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? Romans 8:18-24

You see, one of the most important signs of the end times for us today is the reconstruction of the third temple.

For Christians, it’s a sign of the end. The Third Temple being constructed is like the last sign of the end. In fact, the way we look at it, the construction of the temple will probably take place during the first 3 ½ years of the tribulation, because in the middle of the tribulation, the Antichrist enters to desecrate it.

“Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” Matthew 24:15-16

For the Jews who didn’t acknowledge Jesus’ lowly first advent riding on a colt, they are also looking for His coming. They believe building the third temple will usher Him in. We are all looking for the sign of the construction of the temple, again.

You see the long sought after peace in the Middle East has been nothing but a vapor when so many world leaders have tried to grab for it. True peace will come when it is built around securing for the Jews the right to build the third temple where they want it—on the temple mount at the foundation stone which is now covered by the Islamic Al Aqsa mosque.

Brokering that peace deal will be the negotiation of the ages. It will turn heads, and hearts, to the leader who cinches that deal. They’ve set a deadline in 2014 for peace. Coincidentally, that will happen in the midst of the coming four blood moons. It’s coming...tick-tock-tick-tock…
