The Two Temples of the End Times

One of several signature signs of the end times will be the construction and use of the third Jewish temple in Jerusalem. We know it is to come because scriptures depicting the last days reveal the temple and sacrifices in operation because the Antichrist enters to defile it.

“Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” Matthew 24:15-16

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.” Daniel 9:27

“So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. “ Daniel 11:31

“And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days (3 ½ years). Daniel 12:11

The drive for building the third temple is excellerating and all the preparations are being made. But, did you know there is another temple coming along as well? Contrasting with the Jewish temple of light, one of darkness is coming into fruition.  

The Temple of Baal’s purpose is to unleash the dark powers of Satan as he seeks to fulfill his final effort.

Sometime this month (April 2016) an arch from the Temple of Baal will be resurrected in Times Square in New York City. Part is already in London, England and it all originates in Palmyra, Syria. These three sites will create a triangle which represents the triad among the gods Bel and the lunar and sun gods from ancient Mesopotamia. You can read more here.

Unconfirmed word is that the official ceremony for the erection of the Times Square Temple of Baal will be April 19. This has some repeated historical significance:

• April 19, 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings
• April 19, 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing
• April 19, 1993 Waco’s Branch Davidian Cult Assault

And there are more examples here. Other mid-April instances even drawing notice from CNN include April 20, 1999’s mass shooting at Columbine and the Virginia Tech massacre occurring April 16, 2007. The baby-boomer tendency favors conspiracy theories, but it does appear that mid-April has its growing list of tragic events in America—more tragic than the federal tax deadline.

These Mesopotamian gods trace back to ancient Babylon. The Bible clearly depicts the rise of Babylon in the last days:

The Great Harlot and the Beast

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,  with whom the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her sexual immorality.”

 Then he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.  The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filth of her sexual immorality.  On her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY,
BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.

When I saw her, I marveled greatly.  Then the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.  Revelation 17:1-7

Author Michael Snyder suggests this triad related to the arch will open a doorway for powerful demonic forces to enter the earth.

Perhaps this is the gateway for the Antichrist to rise.

This last days Babylon is characterized by its control of government, commerce, and religion. Palmyra, Syria with its geographical connection to ancient Babylon certainly speaks for the religion or spiritual influence. London represents the seat of government, and of course, Times Square is the world’s center for commerce. This real Devil’s Triangle will perhaps unleash the Four Horsemen seals in Revelation 6. Maybe we are seeing the spiritual mechanism coming into place that will invite the last days.

Once the arches, or gateways, are active—earth’s inhabitants are sure to experience wickedness in unimaginable ways.

The Antichrist spirit is that which opposes the work of God. Satan has consistently counterfeited every move of God toward holiness. Satan counters with apostasy and abominations—he’ll even counter with his own temple and definitely the rise of Babylon is his kingdom that he seeks to populate and from which he will derive control.

This portal event is quite common when you consider the spiritual realm. The Bible describes lots of portals or gates into the spirit realm where it can intervene into this physical realm:

But he was also afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!” Genesis 28:17

 

Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And  I will praise the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord, Through which the righteous shall enter. Psalm 118:19, 20

 

Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Proverbs 8:34

 

Yet He had commanded the skies above and opened the doors of heaven, and He rained down manna upon them to eat and gave them the grain of heaven. Psalm 78:23-24

 

In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Kebar, the heavens were opened and

 

I saw visions of God. Ezekiel 1:1

 

And He said to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” John 1:51

 

After this I looked. And there was an open door in heaven. The first voice I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Revelation 4:1

 

And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” Mark 1:10-11

Whatever gates and portals the enemy brings to the planet, the one gate that matters above all is Jesus. He is the access into eternity, the Kingdom of God, the spirit realm in which God created destiny for all humanity. Turn to Him and He will open to you windows beyond your imagination.

Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. John 10:9
